"Kauai" (Original Hawaii Lighthouse Framed Painting)
K is for Kauai - #a2zartchallenge.
This framed painting beautifully captures the serene charm of a coastal lighthouse scene from the island of Kauai in Hawaii. The centrepiece is a tall, white lighthouse with a red-topped roof, standing proudly under a bright blue sky. A cosy, quaint house is also nestled against the lush green landscape that slopes gently toward the shoreline. The white fence leading to lighthouse really showcases the attention to details, giving the scene a sense of depth and realism.

My aim is for your artwork to maintain its appearance for years to come. Proper care and maintenance are essential to preserving the quality and vibrancy of your piece. Please follow the care instructions below to ensure your piece remains in good condition.
1. Handling
- Always handle your artwork with clean, dry hands.
- Avoid touching the surface of the piece directly as much as possible to prevent oils and dirt transferring onto the artwork.
2. Cleaning
- Dust your artwork gently with a soft, dry and lint-free cloth (such as micofibre). Avoid using feather dusters, which can catch on the texture of the artwork.
- Never use cleaning sprays or chemicals on the surface of the piece, as they can damage the paint or finish.
3. Placement
- Avoid hanging your artwork in direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause fading and discoloration over time.
- Do not place your artwork in areas with high humidity (like bathrooms or kitchens), as moisture can cause the paint to warp or deteriorate.
- Fluctuation in temperatures, or extreme heat/cold can cause damage to the canvas or warping of the wood.
- Keep you artwork away from heat sources, such as radiators or fireplaces, as excessive heat can lead to cracking and damage.
- Avoid other objects pressing against the artwork, as this could cause indentation or perforation damage.
4. Framing
- If your artwork is unframed, consider using a high quality frame to protect the edges and add stability.
- If you opt for glass protection, ensure there is a gap between the glass and the surface of the artwork to avoid condensation and mold.
By following these care instructions, your artwork will continue to brighten your space for years to come. If you have any further questions or concerns about maintaining your artwork, feel free to contact me at makeitsoph@gmail.com.
