Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece; and in Greek mythology it is considered to be the home of the Gods, and the site of the throne of Zeus.
It has a similar status in Disney’s Hercules, as it’s the kingdom above the clouds were the gods are able to lounge around and do godly things, and while all beings are able to reach the Golden Gates, only the gods can enter the kingdom.
